இரண்டாம் திருவிழாவின் மகத்துவம்: நமது உடலை இரண்டாகப் பிரிக்கலாம். ஒன்று ஸ்தூல உடம்பு. அதாவது, நம் கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியும் உடல். மற்றொன்று சூட்சும உடம்பு. இது கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியாத நுட்பமான உடல். சூட்சும உடம்பு எட்டுத்தத்துவங்களால் ஆனது. அதாவது மெய், வாய், கண், மூக்கு, செவி ஆகிய உறுப்புகளால் உணரப்படும் தொடு உணர்வு, சுவை, பார்வை, மணம், ஓசை என்னும் உணர்ச்சிகளையும், மனம், புத்தி, அகங்காரம் என்னும் குணங்களையும் உள்ளடக்கியது.நாம் பிறக்கிறோம், இறக்கிறோம், மீண்டும் பிறக்கிறோம். இந்தப் பிறவிக்கு முந்திய நிலையில் நமது உயிரானது (ஆன்மா) பார்வையற்றவனைப் போல எங்கு செல்வதென தெரியாமல் அல்லல்படுகிறது. பார்வையற்றவனுக்கு ஊன்றுகோல் பயன்படுவது போல, உயிருக்கு இறைவன் சூட்சும உடம்பையும், ஸ்தூல உடம்பையும் கொடுத்து உலகில் நடமாட அனுமதிக்கிறார். இந்த இரண்டு உடல்களையும் இறைவன் கொடுத்ததன் நோக்கம், நம்மை யாரென்று அறிந்து கொள்வதற்காக மட்டுமே. ஆனால், நாம் இதை உண்மை உடல்களாகவும், நிரந்தரமானது என்றும் நினைத்து இந்த உலக வாழ்வில் இன்பங்களை நுகர்ந்தபடியே உழலுகிறோம்.
இந்த இரண்டு உடல்களுமே உண்மையல்ல என்பதை உணர்ந்து, இன்று பவனி வரும் இறைவனிடம், ""இறைவா! இந்த இரண்டு உடல்களுமே எனக்கு வேண்டாம். சிவமாகிய நீயே நிஜம். இந்த உடல்களை விடுத்து, உன்னை வந்தடைய வேண்டும் என்பதே என் வேண்டுகோள். இனியும் பிறவித்துன்பத்தை தராதே,'' என பிரார்த்திக்க வேண்டும். இரண்டு உடல்களையும் விட்டு இறைவனுடன் ஒன்ற வேண்டும் என்பதையே இரண்டாம் திருவிழா உணர்த்துகிறது. இன்று அன்னை மீனாட்சி அன்ன வாகனத்திலும், சுவாமி பூத வாகனத்திலும் எழுந்தருளுகின்றனர்.
You can divide our body in to two.The real physical body which we can see and the one which cannot be seen thru eyes.The unreal body is made of eight tatvas - The human body, mouth, eyes, nose,ears -the five senses associated with it are touch, taste, vision, smell, sound. The other three tatvas are mind,brain and pride. We are born, we die and we are reborn.Before this birth,the atma wanders like a blind man. It is God who gives the real physical body and the senses .He is the one who makes all of us live in this world.This is like giving a stick to the blind man.The reason why God gives us the body and the senses is to realise who we are.But we think this is going to stay forever and jus keep enjoying the wordly pleasures. We need to realise that everything is unreal.Lets surrender to Lord Shiva and say "You are the truth.We want to liberate from this body and reach you."Liberating ourselves from both the real and unreal bodies is denoted by the second festival.This day you can witness Godess Meenakshi on Anna Vahanam and Shiva on Bhootha Vahanam.
